Design
The USB drive looks stylish and compact with dimensions of 7.9mm x 18.95mm x 52.2mm (H x W x L). The clear skin plastic sleeve protects the USB connector, which is enclosed in a lustrous metal casing. Performance
This 1gb flash pen drive from sandisk is a USB 2.0 compliant USB device and offers maximum data rates when connected to Hi-speed USB 2.0 ports. The transfer rates suffer when this drive is connected to legacy ports (USB 1.1 compliant). The drive is Plug and Play compatible and does not require additional software to work on most of the Operating Systems. It is compatible with both Macintosh and Windows Platforms. This drive performs faster when copying and deleting bigger files and becomes slow as the file sizes decrease. The drive also comes with a few pre-installed software. This means that they are installed in the drive and run from the drive itself. The Cruzer Lock utility can encrypt your files to secure them.
